I'd like to sort all of my Gmail messages that don't have label, so I can process them (I miss some every now and then). I can sort by every label by clicking on it at the left, but how do you sort the unlabeled ones?

I've forwarded one of my really old email addresses to Gmail. I'd like to create a filter so that any mail to that old address is always labeled properly in Gmail.
I can create a Gmail filter with the "To: " containing that address, but that doesn't catch all mails to that address, only the ones that are explicitly addressed. Often, there is spam where somebody else is the explicit recipient, and my old address was simply Bcc'd. The "To: " filter doesn't work.
What I'd like to do is filter on the "Delivered-To:" header. Is that possible with Gmail or am I stuck with the three standard options of From, To, Subject?

How can I filter messages in Gmail using boolean OR
conditions? For example, I can specify addresses in the To:
or From:
fields, but this only matches emails that meet both criteria. How can I match emails that meet one or both criteria?

If I have multiple filters that match the same email do they all get processed? If so, in what order are they processed? What if the first filter matched modifies the email to make it match (or no longer match) a different filter?

I know how to create a filter and once it's created it will execute this filter on all incoming mail. However is there a way to execute this filter on what I already have received?

I have a number of Gmail filters acting on my incoming e-mail.
I'm trying to find a way to "pause" a filter. By that I mean to temporarily turn it off without deleting it. (Some are fairly detailed and I'm afraid I'd never be able to restore them if I deleted them.)
Gmail itself obviously doesn't have this function, but what could I do that stops the filter from acting while not losing the filter itself.

I run the office lotto syndicate.
I get a results email that I want to detect via a filter, and forward to a group containing the lotto syndicate members.
Is this possible? I can't seem to figure it out..

When you try to use any of the queries label:
, in:
, or is:
in a Gmail filter, you will see the following warning:
Warning: Filter searches containing
"label:", "in:", or "is:" criteria are
not recommended, as these criteria
will never match incoming mail.
However, if you want to disable the spam filter, you can safely ignore this warning. Are there any other exceptions?

Emails from Google Docs are sent from the personal email address rather than from noreply address.
So when I receive a notification about that somebody has shared a document with me, I see somebody@gmail.com address in the "From" line. However, these emails usually don't have any useful meaning and I want to filter them to a particular label for GMail notifications to move it away from Inbox. Since there is no filter parameter like "sent via" how can I do that?
To make it clear, I am interested in filtering incoming emails.

Is there a way to have a copy of any message sent from a Gmail account sent to another address?
I've got any messages coming to my address copied to another (see this question for one solution, setting up filters is another), but I have't yet found a way to have outbound messages automatically copied.
Is there a way?

Is there some way to make Gmail apply a label to incoming mail automatically based on the sender? For instance if Bob is my client, and all contact I have with Bob is work-related, can I make Gmail automatically apply the label 'CLIENT' to all incoming messages from Bob?
I would also be interested in a similar feature based on the recipient email address because I use my Gmail to check several accounts.

I'm trying to find mails that have one address in the recipients but another not in it.
I'm trying things like from:address1@gmail.com and not from:address2@gmail.com
and from:(address1@gmail.com and not address2@gmail.com)
None of them work, and I can't find a good help page about boolean operators either.
Anyone has any idea?

I have set up a Gmail filter that marks all incoming mail from a certain mailing list with a star. Right now, the filter automatically applies the standard yellow star. How can I set it to use the blue star instead?

This question already has an answer here:
I keep receiving spam mails from different senders using different domain names (e.g. newsletter@buyerkart.info via utilityinbox.com).
I could create a filter to catch all mail from newsletter@buyerkart.info, but I want to catch/filter all the mail sent via utilityinbox.com.
How could I achieve that?
